Say goodbye to Bixby Dwelling, and say hello to Samsung Daily, at least if you're on the latest Android x beta on a Galaxy S10. If you're on the newest Android x beta that Samsung released before today, you lot will find an update for Bixby Home in the Galaxy Store that turns it into Samsung Daily.
Samsung Daily is a rebranding of Bixby Dwelling house, which resides on the leftmost home screen on Galaxy devices and shows you news and other content from various services and websites in a carte-based UI. Samsung Daily has no new functionality and the user interface remains the same equally well. Even so, a few new services for news, videos, sports, and other content have been added. Some existing ones, like Flipboard, are still present, while services similar Uber and Square seem to have been removed.
Samsung had said at its developer briefing last month that Samsung Daily would start rolling out in November, but co-ordinate to the app'due south changelog, the worldwide rollout will start past the finish of the year, no incertitude one time the stable Android x update gets released. That doesn't hateful that Samsung Daily won't be bachelor on Android Pie, simply for now, it's only bachelor for those that are running the latest Android 10 beta on their Galaxy S10e, Milky way S10, Galaxy S10+, or Galaxy S10 5G. It's not available on the Android x beta on the Galaxy Annotation 10.
To get Samsung Daily, open the Galaxy Store on your phone, tap the three-dot push on the top right, tapMy page, tapUpdate, then look for an update to Bixby Home and download it. You lot tin as well try borer this link to open the Samsung Daily page direct on the Galaxy Shop, although this will only work on Android 10 on a Galaxy S10 (yous'll be taken to the Bixby Habitation shop list on Android Pie).
